Writing Opportunities

The Rockford Review


No theme.

Submit up to three new, previously unpublished poems (50 lines or less) OR one new prose piece that is 1300 words or less to be considered for publication in the 2015 winter-spring edition of The Rockford Review.

Submit now until deadline October 15, 2014. Published writers will receive $5 per published poem and one contributor copy of The Rockford Review.

Include your bio, 50 words or less. Writers will be notified if they provide a SASE or email address.

The Best or Worst Autumn Prose Contest


Rules:

Submit up to three prose entries that are each 1300 words or less.

Prose must somehow express The Best or Worst Autumn.

Contest is open. Deadline is December 15, 2014.

Cash prizes up to $100.

Winning entries will be published in The Rockford Review.

Winners will be announced in the January 2015 RWG newsletter.

Winter Hours Poetry Contest


Rules:

Submit up to three new poems, each 50 lines or less.

Poems must somehow express the theme Winter Hours.

Contest is open. Deadline is February 15, 2015.

Cash prizes up to $100.
