RWG & A Plus  Book Contest

Have Your Book Published!

Book Contest

The Rockford Writers' Guild and A Plus Printing sponsor an annual book contest as a special benefit limited to Guild members in good standing. Contestants receive discounts on book production, ISBN numbers and bar codes.

To qualify, books must be published by A Plus Printing no later than December 1. Then, a panel of anonymous judges will select one of those entries for the grand prize. The prize value is determined by the number of entries.

Top prize value so far has been $250.00! The more entries RWG Press receives, the bigger the prize.

  •  All genres of original literary arts and illustrations are eligible.
  • Consistent with RWG's editorial rules, libelous, pornographic, or supremacist material will be disqualified from this contest. Reprints of author's previously published work are permitted if appropriate copyright credit is given to the original publishers.
  • A non-refundable deposit consisting of one-half of the estimated production cost must accompany contest entries. In return, A Plus Printing will produce a proof copy for authors to approve.

Upon approval, authors must remit the second half of the production costs with their accepted proof. Then the presses will roll and contestants will get quality books at rock bottom prices – plus additional benefits including marketing support.

For editorial support, marketing, questions and comments, please contact the editor.
